Winter WindowIt snowed last night! I watch the white wisps drift gently down to their companions below. Frost and water droplets form on the windows. I sit wrapped in a warm and fuzzy blanket, warm cup of cider close by.

I’m such a kid when it comes to snow. There’s just something about that blanket of white, watching it fall gracefully from the sky, or whip across the surface of the world in a big gust of wind.

It’s so peaceful, cold and frozen, but so much hope. It makes staying in that much more safe and cozy feeling, and going out that much more of an adventure.

Then of course there are snowball fights, snowmen, sledding, skating, and the like. Even shoveling isn’t that bad. It’s exercise, right? Plus there’s the added benefit of the crisp, fresh air that circulates only this time of year.

  1. I also have a strong love for snow. It leaves me full of hope. I can never have a bad day when the world is covered in white. I feel free and unencumbered. In fact I would love it if it snowed all the time. 🙂
