I love lists! They are probably one of the best things ever invented. I just finished a nice long list of blog post topics that I hope to write about soon. I’ve been meaning to do this for quite some time now, I just hadn’t gotten around to it. Yay for schedules!
It seems I’m always working on a new list for one thing or another. It really helps me to stay organized and clears my mind to write everything down in one steady stream. It’s also interesting to see how things change over time… What things stay, what things go. It’s very calming and relaxing for me.
I’m obsessed. There are worse things to be addicted to.
Do you regularly make lists or use them to stay organized?
Yes, a list at home and one at work. Both are too long.

Yes, I use a “To Do” list, but it’s not just a simple long list. I write the things to do in my diary, and I place each item on the date that is usually a couple of days before the last date that the task must be done. There is an old saying “Never put off until tomorrow the things that can be done today” but I think that’s really bad advice. It just gets you stressed worrying about doing things today that can be delayed. A better statement is “Always put off to tomorrow the things that do not have to be done today”. It’s a good way to manage your life!

That’s a great point! And a really good idea. Thank you for sharing. 🙂 It’s so interesting to see how others use them.
This past month I’ve been using a system called the bullet journal. It has been infinitely helpful. I’m planning on writing about it next month after I’ve been using it for a bit.
Have a wonderful day! 🙂

haha well they say the first step is to admit you have a problem. I think we can stay on this step a while. I’m not likely to change any time soon. 🙂

Haha, sounds like a plan to me! I’m perfectly willing to admit that I have a problem, but I’m not likely to change any time soon either. 🙂 Lists are just too perfect!

I love lists! I have them on my laptop (love that sticky note app with Windows 8), on scraps of paper around my desk, written in notebooks … I may be addicted, too 🙂

They’re the best! I also have them just about everywhere. I haven’t used the sticky note app, though I should look into that. One Note can be pretty good; check boxes and everything! Thank you for reading. 🙂
