Not Even You

I’ve spent some time reading blogs and whatnot. I loved this article, and this particular image from INFJoe really resonated with me today.

Not Even You

To any of my introvert friends out there… Have you ever felt that even spending time with yourself was too much?

    1. What a wonderful thought. I’ve often felt the same way. Art, stories, and music all seem to have that effect sometimes. It’s great to get lost in another world. 🙂 Thank you for your comment and have a wonderful day!

  1. I agree with Stormy Dormy! The best I have found is to crank some music for my mood- at least my brain can focus on just the music for a bit, instead of all the swirling thoughts. Still, it’s not the same as being able to separate brain from body. “float away and escape myself”- what a lovely thought!!

  2. I am an ambivert. I could relate to some things really really well, and some things I could just not identify with. I probably have an issue with some introverts, though. When I was younger I did not know how to make a friend but I really wanted one (was kinda ostracized too), so when people came I was extremely clingy. Hmmm…

    1. I’m so sorry you were ostracized. That is a terrible feeling for sure. I hope you’ve found some good friends now who will stick by you, and if not, I hope they come along soon. 🙂

I think there’s so much more to a person than introversion or extroversion, but it’s an interesting concept. To be fair, some of the images in the post were specific to INFJ’s, not introverts in general. Just out of curiosity, have you ever taken an MBTI assessment?

      Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
